What are you even arguing here? The point is that she was not justified in questioning the development of these two particular players, given their terrific development to date. It's not that hard.

She was the main media force behing the Ratten sacking - she constantly claimed to have a "source" at Carlton - it was unrelenting until she was challenged on it and exposed as blatantly lying.

Yes. The entire team lifted - we beat the doggies by almost 10 goals - everyone in the team lifted. You might as well be claiming its Carros comments that spurred us on to win.

Do you know who watched that show, and drew inspiration from those comments - NO ONE FROM CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB.

umm.........I was thinking that it would have been showed to them, and they would have been questioned internally about whether that sat right with them, and it fired them up and they came out and had career best games.

Both players had career best performances, not because they suddenly decided to try a bit harder, but because the team as a whole lifted and everyone benefited. Previous games we'd get a run on, and run straight into a turnover because there was no support. This week we had 5, 6, 7 players sprinting on the transition so players could handball off and keep the play moving. Cripps also put away his usual MO of winning the ball and trying to do everything himself from that point on, and just fed the ball out to blokes in better position. It made us less predictable and gave more responsibility to the midfield group beyond Cripps.

And surprise surprise, when the midfield are clearing the ball easier and we're finding space in the middle of the ground, the forwards were able to lead and receive well-directed kicks to their advantage.

If am individual can be credited with the improvement, it's Cripps. He gave the team a fair shake up after the GC loss and told them to take responsibility for their own performances. Being young and inexperienced is a valid reason for inconsistency, but it's a crutch we've leaned heavily on for too long.

Think she's not so good at understanding football but has a nose (well used to) for 'dirt' and would gleefully put her nose in everyone's baggage looking for ways to bring them down. Think she's realistically a very poor football journalist, used to be a good investigative journalist but clearly enjoyed bringing people down way too much, evidenced by all those burnt bridges between her and her sources, who seem to have all deserted her.
