A big shout out to Pendles, Grundy and Treloar for making a the AA squad of 40. Surely Grundy is a monty for inclusion in the final squad.

Probably another year Pendles misses the final squad. Average of 27.9 quality touches per game. Will miss out due to some new, flavour-of-the-month, flash in the pan type who averaged 28.0.

Good on the boys though, all should make the final team in my biased opinion.

Grundy a certainty and should be first ruck this year (Gawn if picked can be benched).

Crisp very very under rated.

Treloar won’t quite make it.

Pendlebury should absolutely make it and be captain. The reward for long serving multiple AA players.
Be very fitting.

But the selectors will favour someone else.

I was thinking the same thing. I feel like the top 4 sides always have heaps of AA. This squad would've made a lot more sense 2 weeks ago when they probably sat down and selected it.

SEN makes me laugh. There's days where there's literally no footy news all day and they talk opinion. And yet this AA squad dropped, as well as the Murray news, and they're yet to discuss it nearly half an hour later.

Well done boys, great effort, still think Crisp is incredibly stiff to not at least make the squad.
I have Grundy starting over Gawn this year, Trealor on the bench and Pendles the unlucky one who misses out. The midfield is very very strong this season.

Crisp missing out is almost criminal. His numbers stack up favourably against every other medium/small defender in the league, including Houli, who everyone thinks is a lock for the 22...
