I heard he picked the Hawks but then they changed their mind.

And we didn't landed Mitchell, O'meara, Wingard, Impey in that time?Don't recall Carlton fans being like this for the past four trade periods.
R&l seems reliable more meant the other blokeR&L said Sunday or yesterday that he was staying and it would be confirmed later on.
Turns our he was right... Damn

Congratulations to GWS.
Securing a great player for his career.
Hawks supporters may now begin detailing how average Coniglio is.

I think it's becoming increasingly evident that Hawthorn are not a destination club. And no, a broken down Scully is not a valuable acquisition.Shiel
Lynch

Is the lure of playing under Clarkson that big a deal for players?

We miss some we hit some, it is what it is. Lets wait and see how the trade period unfolds before panicking
Yep I was one of them....So did a lot of Giants fans though?
Yep they put a gun to his head. Not our style in the least.
Everyone in the industry is fully aware that this is Gill's doing.
Meh i would suggest ignoring the vocal minority. Not saying Hawks can't land players nor am I saying people are always wrong about players going there. What I am saying is some hawkes fans are second only to the north board for claiming players are 'locked in' to joining them then all going missing once said player signs with their current club or goes somewhere else.
A million a year.
So more than what Hawks were offering(I think?) and less than what the Blues were offering.
All the talk is about the culture at the club.
Personally think that there has been some promises made around the coaching/medical issues at the club to get this across the line.
2 boards itks all confident he would leave the giants though the Carlton ones seemed to change to him staying hawks ones not so much
Wonder how much Gil getting involved changed things but well done giants and adidas
