I rate Aliir highly. At 25 he would be an ideal replacement for Liam Jones.

Fisher was down in 2019. I was a big advocate for drafting him in 2016. After last season I thought he'd go from strength to strength. He is genuinely a fringe player next year unless he finds his best form.

I think that using Fish as a small forward/mid was a mistake this year. Should have just used him as the winger/first receiver that he is. He has that breakneck speed and a nice turn out of trouble that works well with Cripps extracting the ball from the centre.

why is a small forward role for fish considered out of posistion for him...there is no excuse for him not to excel in that role..he has all the features and skill set for it. i think its more attitude with him..he seems conditional for some reason.

I think we have got to allow for a young player to have there ups and downs. They will have there ordinary seasons before they reach football maturity.

When a player or team is having a down patch there appears to be all sorts of problems with there game, when all it is, is just a loss of confidence and form. Weitering went through the same thing.

Fisher showed a lot of class and ability from the get go. I highly doubt that has disappeared for good.

Most of Carlton’s young players are probably still in a bit of an up and down phase gradually learning about themselves and there footy.

Fisher was also the guy who found Murphy open a few times when Murphy kicked some great goals including the winner against Freo. He has shown great Footy IQ at times.

2020 will be his fourth season and he’s now got 55 games under his belt so we can expect him to really hit his strides.
