Yes, and a big jump up the order it is, too.
Understood they want 9, but they will need more than the player for that.
Maybe a decent 3rd would be enough.

Under your proposal we trade out pick 9 only from your post and get Papley and their second round pick 25, that puts Papleys value at 27. Absolutely zero chance they do that.

How I'd propose it is a lot better than that.
Carlton give 9, 41, 46, future third
Sydney give Papley, 25, 51, 60.
Puts Papleys value at 12. Much much closer than your suggestion
Also then have 25 and change for Martin.

Besides, they should be more worried about what the deals result with rather than pick numbers.
Papley and pick 25-36 for Daniher is quite a good outcome for them I would think.
