Not sure these make sense - your first trade values Papley at Pick 17 and your second trade values Martin at about Pick 35. But you’re entitled to your opinion and we never know what SOS can pull off.

But interested to know who you would pick up if we did take say a Pick 20 or 25 to the draft?

How on earth did you get pick 35 as the valuation there? I'd call it 25-35 just for the future second alone, and you're dealing with a different draft pool with different peaks, dips and plateaus. Don't pluck a number like that out without a clear model for the deferred income, and especially not such a daft one in the context of future pick trading.

If you'd darkened the door of the draft thread, you'd already know who I'd be targeting.

Papley wont get much back if anything -certainly not 25

We're not doing Papley for pick #9 and they're not doing Papley and 2nd rounder (the only one they have right now is #25), so this is the next step. I wouldn't go any higher than this for Papley, contract or not.

If * do manage to trade Daniher for a couple of firsts and that other dude for a decent 2nd rounder that's a nice start to a rebuild. If they were smart they could attempt to turn their two 2nd rounders into another high pick.

They're losing two of their best 5 players, and their only decent forwards. This draft is also completely rubbish, and they traded out of last years super draft.

Also itk's here have talked about us being in discussions with Sydney offering pick 9 and trying to get a second back...obvoously there has been discussions before trade week starts.

Not sure why they are all lying about it.

Stonewalling takes the pressure off for a little longer. Once clubs start publicly reporting what offers have been made it adds more fuel to the media bonfire.

Reckon we also need to be a bit more cautious given the Papley trade is likely tied up in the Daniher negotiations, and the Martin trade might be a second domino that could fall depending on what comes of the Papley trade.

There's also the apparent reluctance for list managers to admit to courting a contracted player before the season ends - it's not entirely against the rules, but it certainly seems like it's only accepted when it's discreet.
