Papley doesn't really make sense for them, they need height badly at both ends of the ground.

If they pay for Jack Martin or Papley they will still have holes.

One of my * supporting mates said he wouldn't renew his membership if they went after another smaller bodied winger/flanker/outside type in Martin at the expense of correcting their genuine needs (#1 priority inside mid or two, #2 priority a reliable key fwd target to structure around).

My belief of the trade period for us will be: Martin, Betts and Papley will all get done despite the huffing and puffing. Daniher will get to Sydney (which I think is a bad move for Sydney and NOT worth 2x first rounders). Sydney won't hold Papley back from wanting to get to his personal needs in Melbourne. I don't think we'll land a big fish (to me Papley is close enough to be called big for us and our needs) but if I had to guess at a left field smokey on the table it'd be someone who can go through the midfield from the Freo ranks - pure speculation.
