I don't disagree with a shorter trade period, either way similar deals will get done
I actually think it is a good way to posture during a negotiation
The stronger the trader, the longer the timeframe, the better for results
What I like about the idea of a shorter trade period, is that it allows for more mistakes but also for more brilliant trades....therefore more dynamic.
It's not easy work either way but five days would really force one to peddle hard from the get-go and maybe I'm a little CFC-centred in saying this right now, but I feel it would suit us.
