In the context of GWS' current midfield, if he'd been consistently lighting up the NEAFL and wasn't on $400k for the next two years, a second round pick would be fair.

But he's not been consistent, and he does have that contract. Pick 47 for the full contract is where I would start.

The guy is like 26 and done nothing so far but cause problems and be injured.

Russell is the best in the business but if the player is unprofessional and not doing what he should in his rehab...

There are so many better options for us to pick up as a DFA over Bennell. He's been moved on from 2 clubs already.
