Sure, we didn't get Papley, simply didn't have the currency to get the deal done, without paying ridiculous overs.
We'll get Martin for nothing in the PSD. SOS had a plan B - offered a fair trade, GCS were greedy and now Martin walks for nothing.

Obviously Joe D, Essendon and Sydney has an accord which would have meant Paps arrived to us. Dodo and Sydney shit the bed and in turn screwed us.
Gold Coast basically used the free picks from the AFL go make and stand...if we sign him in the PSD then no harm for us

Well that was anticlimactic. So much for things definitely happening. I don’t think Martin comes via either draft either. Silvagni gets a fail this trade season that’s for sure. Some gaps in the team not addressed. Just goes to show folks don’t put all your faith in sneaky leakers.
