I tried to register my family of 4 via the link in the email to social club members, but there was a problem because of a transaction limit of 3 and I could only make one transaction.

I had to ring the membership line and got them to do it manually for me. Took a couple of minutes, now all good.

Are these events still incredibly dull affairs with food and drink rationed like the dark days of WWII?

I usually attend this event hoping for a more interesting format but I'm not sure what more the club can do to improve it. Perhaps a Q and A session involving the fans or players moving around and being a bit more pro-active. Really don't know, but it's certainly not the food offerings that are the attraction. Not sure the players are that involved in the event either but at least they all mostly attend and make themselves approachable.
