Just a Port fan who is also a big draft fan, popping in to say I thought it was a strange decision to grab two HBFs with picks 7 and 8 in 2017... But now you've got two of the most composed and skillful rebounding defenders in the AFL for the next decade. Brilliant stuff.

3 votes Dan Butler. He's lethal in front of goal and what a fantastic pickup. Even more delicious that the Tigers didn't want him.
2 votes Jake Carlisle. I'm biased, I love him. His spoiling is as good as it gets, he has an incredible superhuman ability to get a fist to the ball in contests he has no business being involved in. His AFL.com.au stats might not reflect it, but he was so important tonight.
1 vote. This is the toughest one. Marshall deserves it, Marsh impressed me and deserves it but the 1 vote has to go to Dean Kent. The way he used the ball led to us kicking about 4 or 5 goals.
Kent really made me look like a fool for saying he shouldn't be in the team.

That was tough, that's ignoring the midfield stars in Hanners and Hill who could easily have been given my votes.

Also, forgot about Battle. I think he needs to stay in the team moving forward, he showed a fair bit. Coffield was good too.
