You winWe might go in unchanged I think.
Surprised Jack Steven overlooked
By the sounds of it they are giving him a mini pre-season, trying to get him fit.

Good to see Stephens Emerg
I smell a late change
It’s that lack of touch that astounds me. Those skills should not deteriorate as badly as they have, considering he completed most of the pre-season.
Feels like participation ribbons all round. Evans one week, then Jarvis, now Stephens.
Late change: $1.05The big changes will be next week vs north.
Um you get fit by playing.By the sounds of it they are giving him a mini pre-season, trying to get him fit.
I'm 90% confident yes.Freddy?
Then what is the point of anyone doing pre-season?Um you get fit by playing.
Cos there arent games to play during that time. Plus there are other ways to get fit without risking injury. Then what is the point of anyone doing pre-season?
That $1.05 seems a little high more like $1.01Late change: $1.05
No late change: $10
He's playing in the scratch matches against the reserves with less contact and less game time. Playing a game of AFL takes a far greater toll on the body in general and is far more degenerative, than non-contact training and running.Um you get fit by playing.
Turning out to be a disastrous acquisition along with Jenkins. Not before time either. Still staggered by how off the pace and out of touch he looks every time he runs out in the ones.
Thought they would've went w an extra fwd.Happy with no change but would of been ecstatic with Freddy in for Hendo or a rested Miers.
Can almost be certain that Hawk or Sav will be rested next week for Freddy now unless they pull up really well
But hang on, isn't he meant to be an automatic inclusion because he's a BnF winner and proven talent? Not before time either. Still staggered by how off the pace and out of touch he looks every time he runs out in the ones.
Yet you can see what he is trying to do sometimes, it's just that its not coming off. Tantalising stuff, but jury still out whether he will ever really get back in the groove. Confidence must be at a low ebb and I suspect that he is a big confidence player. Not sure what the solution is. Clearly cant put a line through him just yet but sailing close to the wind.Like you, I'm finding his lack of poise with the ball in hand more concerning than the clear lack of match fitness.
And given how short of a gallop he is, that is truly saying something.
We could, it's just a shame we don't have one at AFL standard availableCos there arent games to play during that time. Plus there are other ways to get fit without risking injury.
With selwood and ablett out you think we could use another senior midfielder.
None if you had a fair season of playing each team twice, home and away. 34 weeks would be fine. Couple of weeks warmup. Then what is the point of anyone doing pre-season?
What is AFL standard in 2020?We could, it's just a shame we don't have one at AFL standard available
