Great effort cats. Saints were very dangerous. They were a little lucky to be within touching distance thanks to the cats forward line efficiency and umpiring.

Early days, first game and all, but that didn't convince me much.

I'm surprised at how clumsy and rusty we looked, given we had a full pre-season to practice our ball skills.

The movement forward looks to be a problem yet again, so I hope Scott & Co look closely at how the Saints moved forward, and how their forwards spread the defence.

An excellent game from Dempsey, Holmes was good, Danger good, Bruhn and Clark good. A mention to Mannagh.

SDK is a big worry for me gets out of postition and moved away from the ball very easily now , and when he does have it very fumbling with it

Review - Geelong defeats Saints by 8 points

In front of 39352 we got the 4 points. Wont want to have a season of games with skills like that as it was an ugly one and 10.16 wont win you many games. Need to improve on taking our chances and will need to play better than that Great to get the win with Joel in the house and the Stand...
