Imagine a golfer who comes to each tee shot with a different swing??!! Yeah, I don't get it. If fatigue is an issue you train through it

Harry had the same issues playing for the Northern Blues, would have plenty of chances but doesn’t take them which is why I was actually surprised when he first came in and he was hitting them well, it’s Casboult all over again and I don’t care who they have to sack to make room to get Rocca back at the club just ****in do it.

Also some of his decision making is Napoleon into Russia quality.
And his surrender factor when chasing is up there with France, in well every war ever fought, and Tibot Pinot in every Tour de France. 😁

My issue with Dow is a couple of things.
One - he can only play midfield.
Two - His kicking is terrible.

Even on the weekend when he did gather the ball in the midfield, worked himself into space, he still missed his target by a long way.
If a club wants him, they can have him as far as i'm concerned.
His hands are nice in tight, his kicking is just a mystery. That miss into the right HBF under no pressure was, astounding, its almost like he panics and overthinks the possession. Instincts seem stifled. Did we do that to him, or is it him?

That kick was so bad he could just have kicked it long and let the player run on to it had a free player or space to kick it to missed both by 30 meters
Some payers seem to have more time Pendlebury some less Dow It’s a real worry
Only hope I have is seeing the dramatic and impressive improvement Polson has achieved

Bit stunned that Kennedy hasn't been picked last two games. Over corkie and was doing well. Surely an in for Dow or SPS.
I see Kennedy as a regular. Are we sure he is right to play?

Some players don’t play their 1st game until they are 21-22, yet we want to get rid of one that is still 20 years old? Righty...O

Did you even read my post or did you just pull some fantasy out of thin air!?

I didn't see him play at junior level, so may Arr0w might be able to answer than question for you.
I just don't see it with Dow, and when we have other players who are better than his on so many levels, its hard to see how he has a future at our footy club.
Even SPS has shown that he can play up the ground, its just that Teague wants him playing in defence.

Dow was/has never been great by foot. Club/he needs to model his game around Dangerfield rather than a Shuey

From Teague’s presser, sounds like Cripps will play.
DT again stated that he’ll select the team best equipped to win, and no-one will be rested if they are right to play.
Obviously I defer to the MC and medical staff as they are FAR more knowledgeable than I - but I just cannot see the wisdom in this approach.
I want us to win every game we play, but I also think we need to have an eye on not only the upcoming games, but the next season.
The old footy adage of “one week at a time” is true - to a point. It’s a bit like “the customer is always right.” Not 100% accurate every time. Surely you need to have a long term view, not have the blinkers on with a win at all costs attitude.
We’ll see at 6:25pm I suppose.

Agree, except that is was Giants game that Cripps should definitely have missed.
There's a chance that the corky which was such an issue last week might be better for the Swans.

Just catching up on Footy Classified pre GWS game.

Noticed our CB attendence numbers. Cripps & Curnow 80%+ Setterfield 76% and next is Murphy at 42%. Jack Martin 5th 26%.

I really wish we added some pace to that mix. Would love to see SPS or Fisher get some time in there or even Walsh.
