Only what was on the radio, disharmony and infighting. No surprise, thing aren't going well and the boys are frustrated.
Why didn't you pay $75 at the Roo Shop?
One of my all time favourite games. One of the few I still remember.Fantastic.
I tried doing a search but couldn’t find a thread to put this in so I’ll just add it in here. I have the original of this book and think it is a worthy addition to a North supporter’s collection. It is a great read. This was at my local newsagents today.View attachment 959102
Dal Santo and Shinboner would not be normally words I’d have considered should be used in the same sentence. Here is an article I found on the Fox Sports website. A rather damning piece, but I feel there is a lot truth to it.

Whether they were competing for finals or flags, no one could ever say the Kangaroos forgot who they were.
They were scrappers – or ‘Shinboners’, in Arden St speak. A club built on the foundations of working class grit who embraced an eternal struggle the silver spooners across town knew nothing about.
Oh. A serious journalist then.View attachment 959437

Duff’s Magnificent Seven & Seven Deadly Sins

5. North Melbourne
As bad as Adelaide were during their winless stretch through the first 13 games of the season, they were never any worse than North have become in recent weeks. Uncompetitive everywhere against Fremantle on Saturday in the 250th game of Todd Goldstein – a very fine servant of the club. Didn’t think they needed to rebuild when they parted company with Brad Scott last year. Newsflash Kangas – you absolutely need to rebuild as Scott told you.
