Gotta love the reasons managers come up with - just be honest and say he has or is fielding offers from other teams and doesnt want to play for GWS anymore.

Brad Hill is always the best - wants to move home for family reasons (not the massive deal from Freo) - then wants to move to Vic because of girlfriends family (not the massive deal from St Kilda)

Depends what he is truly seeking. If he wants long term financial security, he picks north. If he is willing to take a little less (but still very good coin) plus the prospect of playing in finals within the next 2 years, he can choose Carlton (assuming it’s a two horse race)

I'm not sure there is a "nomination period", the free agency period is October 30 to November 6 though. Only a week apparently?

He should just be honest and say “I’ve got no choice - GWS are paying so much money to underperformers like Coniglio, Kelly, Cameron that there’s no money left for me”.
