Hey guys, just wondering what the future prospects are for Warner in the team. With Rowbottom back, is he likely to be in that secondary midfield rotation with <20% centre bounce attendance like he did for round 1? Or is he likely to have >60% like he did last round despite having all of Rowbottom, Mills, JPK and Parker? Or was the significant midfield time from last game a once-off moving forward (since rowbottom and mills both had to play less minutes to accommodate him?)

Thanks!

Assuming this is Fantasy-related, I'm not actually sure any of us can help. How much time Warner gets inside really just depends on what we do with Rowbottom, which we won't know until the game starts. Last week Rowbottom was underdone and was barely inside at all, which I think helped Warner have the most CBAs (77%) and TOG (83%) of all our mids.

However we almost always run four mids predominantly through there. This year it's been JPK, Parker, Mills and Warner, but if Rowbottom is in better shape this week, given the other three have seniority and are leaders, it's likely Warner will be the one to make way in some capacity.

I have him in my team and I'm backing him to still find enough of the ball and maybe hit the scoreboard if spending time on a wing/flank.

Some positives ...

We have a good record against the cats and generally over-deliver against them.

Okay, they thumped WCE, but seriously - the Eagles only played one quarter. (They were leading at 1/4 time). After than, they capitulated.

Last week aside, Geelong has had a lacklustre year.

Since when have we been worried about Jeremy Cameron?

Dangerfield generally destroys us. He'll be watching from the stands.

Tom McCartin will be back.

Our kids have been leading the way. Stephens and Gould among the possible inclusions and will be raring.

Last week was a shocker. Our delivery, execution, strategy and (more than anything) effort was appalling. That combination of factors aren't going to happen again.

Lastly, anyone can beat anyone when they bring the effort. And the swans have a point to prove.

there are no positives
its all over
wheres the tower wheres the gun

Gut feel.
We'll see more of warner, rowbottom and florent at centre bounces this game.
We'll also see more of Parker forward. Where he is needed.
Mills will drift back to bolster the defence.

The last one better not happen. Just play Gould or another defender like COR.

I'll believe it when I see it about the first two as well, we had the opportunity last week to do that...

What opportunity?
Rowbottom was coming back into the side... he shifted back cause Hewett went down. Swapping out with Campbell . Who was clearly stuffed.
Florent played more on the wing as Blakey was injured.
Unfortunately Horse had to pull the ..crack glass/give baton to JPK and Parker.
I don't want this to be a autopsy...But .
There was absolutely no movement ahead of the ball last week. The whole structure was gross.
Warner, Rowie and Florent are needed close to the miner. JPK can still mine with the best of them. Unfortunately he has horrible disposal without the kids running off his shoulder.

I hope your gut feel is right, just can't see it happening personally. Florent is averaging 22% CBAs this year, which is next to nothing, and who knows what shape Rowy will be in.

He won't move the three leaders in there.

Maybe florent rolling closer to the contest at the CB.

It will be interesting how contested Geelong go. What pressure they apply.

Or stand off. Control possession and go slow.

I don’t understand it. It was only a few weeks ago that posters were confidently explaining how much better the new medical team were compared to the previous amateurs we had to put up with, as evidenced by the lack of injuries, and now look what’s happened. Does this mean the new team are just as crap as the old team?

People were waxing lyrical about the extra 1m width at Metricon would suit our style.

Why?
Geelong have looked like a busted arse this season.
Had a win at sleepy hollow against a injury affected team that didn't turn up after 1/4 time.

Its pretty simple what Sydney needs to do. They need to bring the effort.
Exactly. Bring EFFORT.
