pev was pretty good although he was lucky that goodwin got a corky. it meant that he didn't have an opponent.

although i don't want to take to much away from pev. i haven't been his biggest fan and i was very happy that he kind of proved me wrong.

i still don't see how by round 4 or 5 jj, campo, jobe and pev can play in the same team. i wouldn't want more than 2 of this type of player in the side. and with dyson knocking on the door it will be very interesting to see who holds their spot.

who goes out when laycock comes back. is it kepler or lov-murray???

I think he more than kind of proved you wrong he stuck it right up you. People are quick to jump on a player who has few flaws but the guy has a lot more determination than most.

With Welsh people get on and say he doesn't have a penetrating kick etc he wont last. It takes all kinds of players to make a good team. Basically some are better at getting the ball some are better at creating when they get it.

And Longy yes Pev will have to be playing well to hold his spot so will everyone else in the team. Thats the beauty of having depth your team is made up of players playing well because of the pressure.

i still don't think pev is in our best 22 once jj and campo are fit

The best 22 is decided on form, fitness, injuries, structure, balance, opposition, conditions etc. Not deciding on a name from a list on paper like you do. eg basically if Pev plays like that every week and JJ and Campo are ready to play are you saying he will go to make way. I don't think so.

the best 22 is decided on who are our best 22 players. it has nothing to do with current form or injuries.

there is no way pev is in our top 22 players. he is a handy fill in but that is it.
