I was down in the dumps when Bolts was gone as I was drawn in by the journey, honestly, I’m so meh with the Teague saga.

Second half of last year and all of this year has been like groundhog day. Beaten the same way over and over again, has absolutely shown Teague was not up to it plain and simple.

Blind and deaf Freddy can see there was no other choice, but the failures of the past 2 rookie coaches at critical junctures in the rebuild has ensured a complete warts and all review of everything football.

I’m going to be as toey as an adolescent chap on his first real date as we get closer to next season starting, the thing is I think the list is in a good spot but there’s a lack of actual evidence it really is. I think I’ll take a long sabbatical if it starts off bad again

Bold re Dow given he is contracted and therefore the club holds the aces. why would he ask for a trade before meeting the new coach? Very bold to the point where you could argue it seems … counter-intuitive.

As I have said culture of the club is stuffed. It starts from the top. It’s not going to end well!

Those throwing up Matthews, Sheedy etc as better than Clarko. It is soooooo much harder to win a flag in the past decade than it was 20, 30, 40 years ago. More teams, better recruitment, salary cap restrictions, more focus on actual tactics. Clarko did it four times in 6 years. There has not been a better strategist in the history of the sport. Said this half way through the year when I exposed Teagues terrible selection issues and raised the impact on younger players - some wanting out.

If he goes Teague's name will never be mentioned.
