Dow and O'brien are welcome to seek a trade- play about 6 good games between them in 4 seasons

Let’s give up on 21 year old kids. Has it ever occurred that some players take longer to develop. Not all are Sam Walsh’s.

But again has the club set these kids up to succeed. How much money have they poured into footy development etc. the answer is a big fat no.

Giving up on and letting Dow go will be one of the biggest mistakes this club makes.

Actively looking for a coach whilst there is one still there. Then telling one of the candidates (Lyon) the job his his if Clarko doesn’t want to come on board.

Absolutely basket case!

Actively looking for a coach whilst there is one still there - nothing new in that.

Then telling one of the candidates (Lyon) the job his his if Clarko doesn’t want to come on board - yet Lyon is tickled pink to be considered.

This is Carlton after all.

Is this aboard level activity, or a footy admin thing?

Assuming Lloyd is actually looking for a new job, I assume its board

According to one of Jon Ralph, Jay Clark and Glenn McFarlane...

"CERRA TO PLAY FINAL GAME FOR DOCKERS"

ADAM Cerra is set to play his last game at Fremantle this weekend, with the pull of family to be his reason for moving back to Melbourne.

Cerra and partner Claudia, who is this year finishing a four-year degree, have barely seen their families through Covid and are understood to be keen to return home.

I refuse to believe Walsh is considering his options. Don't think we've lost a player we wanted to retain for 5 years or so. Please not Walsh. Not him and not now.

Where there is smoke mate……

Lyon seems to understand it - he'd know that Clarko and all his medals present as a better option if available.

And I'm gonna keep trumpeting this - headhunting a replacement before sacking Teague makes lots of sense. Get someone signed up and then pull the trigger on Teague, or run the risk of sacking Teague then having to give John Barker a call if all the other good coaches knock us back.

In hindsight, I'm not sure the club would have sacked Bolton had they known the end result would have been Teague landing the job.

Agree to be fair to Teague the club should have spoken to him two-three weeks ago and advised that they would not be going forward next year, and would be speaking to other people, and said we are happy for you to continue end of the season, to play this out now when clearly Clarkson & Lyon are being spoken is not professional.

Dockers young gun Adam Cerra is set to play his final game for the club this weekend and seek a trade back to Victoria, reports The Herald Sun.

Foxfooty.com.au
senior reporter Tom Morris first revealed last week that he 21-year old’s decision was down to two clubs: Fremantle or Carlton – with the Blues now seemingly in the box seat to land him.

I agree. It's prudent to have a replacement ready. Look at Collingwood now, they're having to go way down the list to find a replacement now. (McC should be good tho).
