I think it's funny that people still carry on about Coniglio's Ambassador allowance as he had already been an Ambassador and receiving that payment for two or three years before we wanted to recruit him.
Let's not let the truth ruin a good story though.

If it was purely a business and there was no emotion involved none of us would be here posting. Football is still about people, it is now mixed with business considerations whereas it once wasn't. Purely a business? Nope. It's much more than that.

That exact notion got us where we are today, Sayers knows it and won’t let it happen again…

For the record, Teague could have resigned any time he liked in the last 2 years or in the last 6 weeks of he felt he was being undermined or left out in the cold, why didn’t he??? Simple $$$$$$$…. He, like the Carlton board has made a business decision to get paid!

No one complained when big Jack was making business decisions and we were winning flags!

I’m sick of my club bending over and taking it and I’m sick of the players standing in line waiting to take their turn as well…

Sayers, run it like a business, be ruthless and put this once mighty football club back where it belongs as being the most hated powerhouse in this competition…

Wow. Both Lyon and Clarkson next year. I guess we have tried everything else so why not two senior coaches? They can rotate each quarter, or perhaps we put one on each wing so that if players slack off they will always be in shouting distance!

Think it through..Clarko is our No 1 coach, but if the “run on” starts, Lyon defensive coach guru takes over to stop the carnage, once that’s contained, normal transmission resumes. I’m fully on board.

Very much so, yes.

Although the chances of a current club captain jumping ship to one of their most hated rivals is almost none.

. A good Carlton man. A good football brain. A good person.

He’s been set up to fail by the club and a number of other circumstances have transpired against him throughout his short tenure.

I don’t believe the review started as a crusade against him & I still believe it was a good thing to do however the team has been so poor since it started that it eventually became all about him.

They’ll move him on and it will be a sad day for Carlton. As it was when we moved on Ratten & Bolton.

Amazing how the media change their tune from week to week. The last month they have whacked Teague on how bad we have been. Now the media are trying to position themselves to say we are treating him poorly and he doesn’t deserve sacking due to lack of support. They’re already gunning for Ross Lyon before he has even got the job despite him just being refreshingly honest in his media commitments. Sure the Leigh Matthews story was a bit of fluff but Ross calls things as they are & didnt shirk away from the hard hitting questions.

The media did the same with Ratts. Hung him out to dry when he coached us but as soon as we moved him on he was lauded as some kind of super coach.

It is interesting the talk on Ross who works for Nine as well... perhaps he hasn’t renewed his Nine contract for 2022

- Lloyd will be gone
- Austin and Liddle would remain...
