How do the players get to vote on this if it's the coaches assoc. award?

Just a bit of irony attached here as well. Aren't we the worst player development club in history and isn't this one of the primary reasons we sacked our coach?

Edit: BTW the article I read said that 120 coaches voted so I'm guessing that's how it is arrived at.

Under the award heading it says the following:

Awarded based on input from the Players and Coaches, on a 50-50 basis.

I must admit I just tried to help the poster who asked the original question without knowing for certain. It appears we were both half right. I can't see how any players or coaches could vote for someone outside their own club, so you would have to be advantaged if your peers are no good.
