Put them in any top 4 side and they'll be different players, if we can start winning and controlling games more where they get more opportunity I'm sure they'll become very handy players.
I hope it is as easy as that. I think Dow has probably had the worst introduction to AFL you could possibly ask for. LOB I think the same but watched a lot of him in the 2s and it is complicated. Numerous things going on we are not privy to I think. Just utter disinterest at times however I feel there are big issues with his overall game as well.
A good structure should make a world of difference, you are right. It is only ours to loose if we don't get them to their optimum output. Here's hoping Voss and co come through with the goods and back them in with a good structured game plan.

Slim to no chance Walsh leaves.

With Hewett and Cerra joining the squad plus Voss working his magic on Cripps, Dow and Kennedy.... Walsh might have to leave to get guaranteed midfield minutes... :p

Kane Cornes is a professional troll.
To be honest, I don't think he is, Cornes is more honest than most of the media out there.
When he has a crack at us (which is admittedly extremely often) he is usually around the mark with his criticism (not always!).
At least when we do something right, he also gives us cred.

Would rather listen to what he has to say over Whateley any day.

Let’s ask him then.

Hey, Vossy, wanna help BlueTongue?

Angry mob wins. Sorry Kane Cornes BlueTongue
Oops, Busted! Did I ever tell you about the time my brother used to psych himself up before matches by jumping into a brick wall?
Well I'm sending him your way buddy!!

He actually never said that. All he did was question the contract length in reply to Mitch Cleary who said that the swans never wanted to keep him. I understand everyone likes to get all upset every time Kane says something and can’t wait to prove him wrong but this time he hasn’t actually questioned or said getting Hewett is a bad move.

Depends how the tweet is interpreted.

Well said. The other consideration that everyone keeps forgetting, these kids haven’t had a VFL system for 2 years.
If they didn’t get a game in the seniors or even allowed to play in their rightful roles, they couldn’t get any consistency or opportunity elsewhere. Wasted years for such crucial times. Need to back these kids in for at least 12 months. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Im still amazed people want SOS back. He has no idea about how future first trading works and doesn’t know much about Lipinski. Frightening

In my opinion, I can't see him going back..

Stripping a list, rebuilding and the hard decisions that come with it are SOS's strength.. He is focused and uncompromising.
Consultative leadership, people management and delegation etc maybe not so much..
I reckon there are reasons he is plying his trade with shitty shows like Trade Radio and not back in Clubland in some capacity.

Doesn’t take away from his legacy at the Blues in my opinion, true Carlton legend and deserves to be remembered and respected as one, but as with everyone involved in the game at the highest level, he has had his day.
