The Vampires, Serpents, Koalas, Shitgibbons, Supersuns FFC and the latest expansion bid, Dandenong Discorders, are in a third expansion division where they will fight for their very existence.

Disappointed the Quokka Qooty Qings did not feature. However it seems ND has been a bit over enthusiastic about the Great Barrier Reefers.

As you all know, my admin reign comes to an end at the end of next season. So far, I think it is fair to say I have played it quite safe prioritising stability, I have not made any radical changes nor had any massive scandals.

How ******* boring.

The SFA is currently not in a bad place, but the sad truth is that there are too many low-quality teams in the league. Too many teams rely on low brow humour, or only want to talk about silly games or IRL. In order to preserve the quality of this league I am introducing to you the first major change.

At the start of Season 33 the league will be split into two divisions, A seniors division and a reserve division.

Both divisions will have their own admin and comprise of 6 teams that will play each other twice over a 10 week period. Each division will have its own committee, ladder, finals series and awards.

The segregation of teams will not be final.

Each off season, a max of two teams will have a chance to be relegated/promoted (as long as neither league goes above or below 6 teams), so if a team gets relegated, a team from the reserves league will take their place.

Where the reserves teams compete, they will be allowed to post how they like, but have the chance to be promoted if their posting improves.
