Teams Arizona Cardinals - The Buzzsaw

No Jimmy Garopolo next week by the sound of it. So a rookie QB which has been our nemesis the last few seasons

We will find out this week where we stand and if we have progressed, "those Cardinals" would get absolutely torched by Lance this week.
Hopefully "these Cardinals" are better prepared.

Think I can finally say this team is legit now, even if I still dont rate the coaching, really impressed with how much the defense has come on since last year, to think I was questioning your secondary heading into this year. Very well rounded. Have all the makings of a superbowl winner.

Bills and Cards the clear top teams in the league.

Defense was excellent all game

Offense was a bit hot and cold though still put up 31 points unanswered. They seem to play to the level of their opposition at times this season. Were sluggish against the Jags too

Kyler got a bit banged up which is rare - he usually escapes but got caught a few times.

Nice for Ertz to get a TD. Almost got another before that but stopped at the line. Connection with Kyler was a bit off on occasions but don't think it will take long to gel.

Texans look terrible and it felt as though we had half an eye on the Packers Thursday night

Report: J.J. Watt tore bicep, labrum, and rotator cuff

by Josh Alper on October 28, 2021, 1:40 PM EDT

Word came on Wednesday night that Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt will have shoulder surgery that is likely to end his season and details about the extent of his injury were reported on Thursday.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Watt tore his bicep, labrum, and rotator cuff in last Sunday’s win over the Texans. Watt also reportedly dislocated his shoulder.

That certainly sounds like a set of season-ending injuries and it certainly seems to be a long shot that Watt will be back on the field before the season is out.
Watt signed a two-year deal with the Cardinals last offseason. He had 16 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and 10 quarterback hits in seven games with Arizona.

We lost that today
10 points straight from bad turnovers and a 3rd to kill the game
We seemed off without a few of our key experienced pieces - Hudson, Hopkins, Watt.

A bit of a worry that our underlying system is so fragile that a handful of outs can derail us. And the Packers were far from full strength (though played a very good game).
