Jarrod Berry in only 10% of teams?! I expected to see 50%. Is he fit? If he is, surely he's close to a must-have at $270k after his recent history? Am I missing something?

Should be back to his best in the midfield this year. Won’t be played as a pseudo key forward either.

Where does he sit in the pecking order is the big question for me. Neale, Lyons ahead of him. Rayner, Bailey playing more mid apparently. Suitcase as well. Is he 6th best? Zorko? Robertson? Is he 8th? Need to see some PS games.

Personally I'd rather pay a bit more for Rowell if I want a mid-pricer.

It's a shame he isn't fwd/mid.

Berry might not be an ace up Brisbane's sleeve this season, but he's pretty close, after playing just 11 games in 2021 following a myriad of injuries.

He's now had an uninterrupted pre-season and looks set to mix time on the wing with Robinson and Hugh McCluggage with some minutes on-ball.

This makes things VERY interesting. I want to know how well he plays on the wing?

Yeah he's never been a premo, gets injuries (never played a full season) and his role is uncertain.

As a mid only he's hard to pick for me.

If Brisbane lose a couple of mid's before round 1 then maybe.

I don't agree with your assessments. I think Berry is one of those guys you take on more risk if you don't pick him. He's less than 270k with a big ceiling.

I'd evaluate it something like this...
  • Worst case (unlikely) he's injured early (15% chance you lose)
  • Not great case he plays wing and poorly (10% you lose)
  • Ok case he plays wing and goes ok (20% not a great result - you make a little money but would do better with the right rookie)
  • Good case he plays a mix of wing and on ball and scores well (30% you win)
  • Best case he plays a bit of wing and lots of on ball and scores very well (25% you win big)
Even if he has just a couple of good weeks in the middle (90, 130, 120), he'll make you 200k or more if you trade him at the peak.

Is Rory Sloane a full-time midfielder in 2022? He was moved around a little bit during the season, what’s his best position for the Crows now?

We’ve had brief conversations around that. His experience in there is really important for us. He is the one that steps up and understands structure, understands what needs to be done at crucial times in games. We would like to think his experience we keep that around the footy as much as we can. But in saying that, he is really open to giving the younger guys an opportunity.

Sam Berry has returned to pre-season in outstanding condition and we saw Harry Schoenberg take his game to a whole different level last season.

At some point we want to give these guys a run through the midfield and that may mean that Sloaney, who has a number of attributes such as marking and kicking goals, may become a really good asset for us working across half forward and pinching on ball. So we will see how that works out.

Sloaney been a stample in my team over the years .
Pity hes SP days are over .

Truly great person .
Love ya Rorz.

Yeo will be fine come round 1.

I'm sure he'll play wizard cup games.

Was one of my first picked until i forced myself to change him in favour of the 4SP + Neale + 3 rookies midfield setup.

Might get super crazy before lockout and start him and Rowell both anyway.
If the starting rooks round 1 mean I end up with a 470k sized hole in my team im putting Yeo into it. Outside of that price is too awkward.

I'm surprised Parish is not more popular,he scored 4 times over 150 last year including a 190.

Went to water when given more attention.
Just as likely to score <80 and drop massively.
Big risk for a bloke that's 600k+.
