Who's to say they're not going to?

It took 20+ years for The Last Dance to come out. Milk it for all it's worth.

We aren't the legend Jordan is/was , he has global interest even after so long still.

We put out cringe "to hell and back" and cant come out with any behind the scenes for the granny? weird. I want more NOW.

NFL films does a doco called "America's game" on the superbowl winning team each year with behind the scenes stuff, players and coaches discussing moments and tactics. AFL should do something similar.

Obviously we are not Jordan.
Point is, if we have anything like that in the works, there is no rush from the club's perspective to release it straight away.

before the beginning of the next season would be the right time I would have thought.

Getting the footage wouldn't have been that easy during all the Covid restrictions. Getting 2~4 film crew passes to training and games...risk probably not worth the reward to the club or the AFL.

Having said that, maybe we'll still see it this year! I remember one coming out for the Saints Cats GF and I think it was years later.

Id love a look at how the coaches box operates communicating with Goody on the boundary, really interested in that given that set up has happened so rarely in AFL. I know you'd have to filter some things as to not give too much away but feels like the club dropped the ball a bit on the moment until proven otherwise (if there is something in the works but not been released yet)

Too late now. They will pull it since it’s just footage of Goody chaperoned by Richardson on the phone to his bookie at every stoppage

The AFL have put out those kinda videos of coaches box recordings for the past couple of AFL and AFLW GFs, usually during the following season.
I imagine there's some footage/audio and they could get some interviews done to go with it to make a decent production.

When it comes to finals they just aren’t on the same level. I love Dangerfield but he’s shown time and time again that he just doesn’t bring under that kind of pressure to win games. Just wins the ball and boats it forward, doesn’t kick clutch finals goals, can’t hit targets in the same way.
Yeah I still don't think Geelongs list would have been good enough if you swap Dusty and Dangerfield around I still think Richmond win those premierships. Perhaps 2020 gf would have been tighter but I still think Richmond get the job done.

But we've got Jordon who wears the number 23

Really disappointed the club (or AFL) didnt put out any behind the scenes stuff with the grand final. I remember them doing it for the WCE vs COL granny and it was fantastic. Would have loved to have seen the coaches speaking with the players and discussing tactics at different stages during the game and the build up.

The draft vids we put out are great, wish we did something similar for the biggest moment in the clubs recent history, regardless of if we had won or lost I would have enjoyed it.
Probably didn't want the behind the scenes bullying and Goody blowing lines of coke and beating on Sha Tin at HT

Finesse, as in the clean skills. No doubt he's physically in good shape but isn't as clean (perhaps the mental part is there too - lacking composure/confidence?).
IMO he is too big, and lacks good lateral movement. Built for power acceleration, but not so much finesse-full movements.
He is I think, become a one dimensional player.

We dodged a bullet.

Goody was jealous of Wattsy being the go-to-guy for coke with the playing group clearly, wanted his completion out so traded him to Adelaide. Ruthless business man.

I was interested in how you'd take that news. He'll have to go with long socks then?
i really hope so, it's disgusting. he's still hot as shit but it's terrible and it's in a position where he'll probably get more because it just looks out of place.

also OMG hai gais!
we won a flag!

yeah, just heard, i spat out my coffee when i heard it the other day.

Just on the whole bullying claim, I dont doubt Goodwin said what was claimed by the ex club Dr, however, as a club doctor im sure you would be required to have a thick skin to a lot of things coaches say to you, especially when that coach is under pressure. Part of the job description id have thought.

Everybody just sues for bullying these days sadly.

And although it disappointed at that time, we are all the better for missing him (danger). Same with judd, and scully.

Scully yes, Judd I disagree on, well sort of. I think had we managed to land Judd we probably don't end up becoming a basket case, we probably would have ended up making finals a few times without ever threatening to win the premiership, basically we would have ended up like Carlton. It's sad but we really had to get into a really bad mess to end up where we are today.

I dont even agree with that, Jason Taylor being able to pick players competently is the key to where we are today, as shown by us from 2009-13, you can have a heap of early selections, but it doesn't matter if the bloke who is picking has no idea wtf hes doing.

No way we pick Oliver at #4 or Jackson at #2 with Gawn still around for example under our old recruiting staff. JT is an outside the box thinker who drafts more on projecting by AFL attributes rather than what a player has achieved or looks like for an extended period at under 18 level, and thats what makes him so good. He sniffs out AFL star potential so well.

I meant more that we had to hit rock bottom before we ended up with quality people ro help with rebuilding the club. First with Roos and Peter Jackson then eventually Taylor.

Ahh shit sorry you said finesse..

I read it as fitness instead.

Apologies
