Would’ve been a monty to kick six on us somehow.

A win gets us to 3-1 which is about where we all thought/hoped we’d be, so that’s all I want on Sunday. Not fussed on how or how much. 3-1 is a nice turnaround from a pretty horrid 100 minutes in round one.

Danger + for us ....especially after the palms laid at our feet for the last game. Build us up and we knock ourselves down...normally....... but yes there is a sterner stuff that seems to be making its present felt. If I was as graphically talented as is the SPACEMAN ...... I'd like to do a scene of KING or perhaps RATTS coming into Moorabbin on a donkey with all and sundry laying palms at his feet. Then split image to post Sunday should we loose ...and MAXY or RATTS, which ever you see as the more rabinical or saviour like....(for mine its KING), being crucified which they inevitably would be ....such are the flying,fickle fortunes of faith.....religion and sport!

To be fair, there are very few that have ran with 3 key forwards and two rucks so there is probably a reason behind that

Sharman, Hayes, King, Membrey, Roma, Ryder sounds like 4 keys and 2 rucks

Its a small sample size so far but I dont think we should be underestimating them.
Hawthorn have looked like a different team so far and have showed some real fight, while playing good footy.
I think it will be an arm wrestle for most of the game.
Hopefully we get more of the King show, he’s so fun to watch when he’s up and about.
Absolutely loving what Sinclair is doing this year.
Crouch was amazing against the Tigers and hope he can continue that form into this game.
My hope for the season and excitement have started to rise.
Im trying to keep those emotions in check as ive and we’ve been burnt too many times.
Should be a cracker of a contest.

I can see this game going right down to the wire, the Hawks came back hard against Carlton and finished the game strongly like we did against Richmond so we can't expect to overrun them and win easily, they look like a team that is fit and will keep coming at you right to the final siren.

In Hawthorn’s last 7 games, they’ve lost just once (last week, to Carlton, by a point). Just let that sink in for a moment.

They also drew with Richmond in R23, so 5 wins, 1 loss by a point and 1 draw.

Included in those wins were Brisbane, and a comfortable win over WB, late last year, and an 11 goal win over Port, in Adelaide, two weeks ago.

So they will very much be seeing this as a game they “should win” just as much as we are. Especially with it being on their home ground.

Any win here will be a good win.

P.Ryder spoke on TV tonight and he is happy to go in with 3 rucks- Himself, Marshall and Hayes. Campbell never got a mention but looks as if Hayes is a ruckman now.

I will take a lot out of this game if we win. It would be refreshing to see the team back up a good performance.

its 2013 not 1973!

that'd get you sacked from just about any workplace in 2013, but at hawthorn they just let it go.

its absolutely shocking stuff.
