How is the MLS with attendances? I feel like if we had their attendances we would not feel as self-conscious about this.
i also think that actually i duno, if other sports see themselves as being "AT WAR" with sokka over there

Bit late now, the horse has bolted. Not sure who the braniac was happy to let every other sport under the sun benefit from the visitors. The AFL love leeching off everyone else, just don't expect any favours from them in return.

Ernie Merrick appointed head of technical direction and football development.

The nature of the misconduct,if disclosed, might narrow it down too much for comfort.
Do you know when it'll be announced?

I know West Adelaide have had some issues with keeping coaches...

The Sydney Swans legend has been appointed to the council of Indigenous Football Australia (IFA), which will channel his expertise as an athlete and businessman towards the development of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who aspire to play for the Socceroos or Matildas.

Football Australia today confirmed that they have adopted the recently implemented FIFA loan provisions and specific domestic loan provisions for professional players in Australia.

At international level, FIFA has recently implemented a series of new loan provisions, including a limit on the total number of international loans, as outlined below:

  • Eight players loaned out and eight players loaned in at any given time during a season from 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023
  • Seven players loaned out and seven players loaned in from 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024
  • Six players loaned out and six players loaned in from 1 July 2024 and beyond
Additionally, a maximum of three players may be loaned out to the same club and a maximum of three players may be loaned in from the same club.

Member Associations are required to adopt these international provisions and include regulations on a domestic loan system that are aligned with the FIFA provisions.

This is a damn joke:

Women's football is expected to soar in Australia after the 2023 World Cup — but a lack of funding has clubs worried

Its no surprise the lobbying and influence for funds by the other sports is way beyond anything football can afford or offer they need to start getting smarter and louder for more federal or state funding.

Is the Rugby league infrastructure funding so large due to the upgrades on most of the Sydney Suburban grounds? This could also benefit football its where F.A need to get smart and work together in lobbying with the NRL. Again lack of foresight and probably a bad history of handling funds doesn't work in footballs favor.

Qatar officially conformed host nation for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup

This series is turning into something a bit epic. How come these aren't on FTA? Show them in the lead-up, it would be awesome.
Almost feel a bit sorry for Brisbane, but still don't haha. Austin's no villain. Gotta start banging the goals though. Moon really has a loser mentality, over before they take to the pitch.

Fornaroli is gone from Perth. I'm actually quite shocked at how quick it happened. But, after Jameson's comments the other day about Bruno at City matching what the word out of Perth was on the weekend and then Sage's comment earlier today, it was inevitable.

Nobody does this better than us.

Pretty much. The club is amateur hour from top to bottom. The only club that is a bigger joke than us right now is Brisbane.

He left Melbourne City in pretty bitter circumstances too. Great player but he is bit of a FIGJAM and a Mercenary.

Sage is a flog though and the sooner he sells Perth Glory the better for everyone.
