I hear you, but you're talking as though its the only draw card. He narrowed his search to 2 clubs... and l can guarantee you that his starting point for choosing Geelong or Richmond was not "hey manager, find me the clubs that's easiest to deal with".

When you still under contract for another year - it is, it really is a consideration.

Welcome to Richmond jacob hopper and Brayden pruss

You'll both improve in a good club

Completely agree.

Strange plays all round.

Especially Dees. They are bolstering their forward line by bringing in a ruck to force the best ruck in the AFL to play forward, where he isn't much chop. :drunk: So they are paying a lot to not really improve the area they need improving. Sort of like us wanting inside mids and getting another top end medium defender so we could move Vlas into the midfield. Paying a lot to screw your squad structure up a bit.
Turning the place upside down after the straight sets exit.

It's rattled them.. one step away from going on a collective minds camp

Woe, that would be a bit left field - Pruessy. Probably prefer Matt Flynn as a back up

Ess lands the final piece of the premiership puzzle.. Will Setterfield
at least early 2000s Richmond won a final after picking up hacks like steven sizzler

God help them if they do that.

Although it would be hilarious.

Although we seem to be he club that destroys other clubs.

Karen does not rate us as according to him if 5 of our top 10 go down next year. Like no s**t. I just highlighted if that happens to any side that would happen. He had a crack at prestia being "always injured" last year. I just highlighted he played 19 games.

Lloyd acting like we have no depth compared to the cats. I showed him the error of his ways.
Someone smart, link please lol

I'm worried about our forward line. We're really putting a lot of faith in Cumberland to step up as the 3rd forward in 2025 (alongside Lynch and Ben King).

The Cerra trade was pick 6 and third round pick this year?

Future 1st, pick 31 and Soldo is a fair bit more then that I would’ve thought?
Big difference between pick 6 & pick 18

Mate we took Bauer in the mid season draft

Let's assume Hopper is traded for our Future First (estimated between 10–18), Pick 31 and Soldo with GWS' pick 63 coming back. For those worried about us paying too much for Hopper, here is some data that may change your mind.

In the last ten drafts:

With picks 11-20 we've taken:
  • 1 top 10 player (20%)
  • 2 best 22 players for us or another club (40%)
  • 1 "Squad" level player (not best 22, but in our best 30) (20%)
  • and 2 players have been delisted (40%)
With picks 31-40:
  • 0 top 10 players (0%)
  • 1 best 22 player for us or another club (25%)
  • 0 "Squad" level players (0%)
  • and 3 players have been delisted (75%)
With picks 51+:
  • 0 top 10 players (0%)
  • 5 best 22 players for us or another club (45%)
  • 1 "Squad" level player (9%)
  • and 5 players have been delisted (45%)
So if we follow the data and the trend continues, we're giving up two "Squad" level players (Soldo and our future first) for a top 10 player (Hopper) and a "Squad" level player (pick 63).

This makes it a no-brainer.
Next years draft is a super draft compared to this years so 2023 picks are worth much more.
