Are GWS looking to use picks 3, 12, 15, 18 and 19 purely for the draft? Or do they want to get some players in via trade?

Maybe we could upgrade pick 33 or 43 for one those later picks and offer up Byrne-Jones or Bonner?

We genuinely need to trade away a player for 2nd round. Can't see it happening another way.

Hayes, Drew, Bonner, DBJ, Farrell. DBJ with most value in that lot perhaps as an All-Australian and club BnF although he was off it best this year. I know he just resigned but yeah either him or Drew

In all seriousness North have actually done fine out of this deal. So have West Coast. GWS showed up, bent over and handed over the lube to make it work for everyone else, and I salute them for it.

Yeah I think north have done well. What more can you hope for to get for a player that wants out than a similar pick + a future 1st on top. That’s a good deal.

Also west coast, despite people knocking them to get out of pick 2 and the private school vic boys and into hewett territory , whose not far behind, if at all those vic boys plus get another pick. That’s good for them.

Ports given up a lot, but the fact we get future 2nds and 3rds back helps a lot,

In the end rozee butters jhf Bergman sinn to look forward too in our midfield.

I really rate that group of players as a future midfield. High end young talent there.

Sounds like Port chucking their 2nd rounder to Collingwood for a future 2nd then a slight tweak in later picks to account for marginally different values.

If it was going to work with a Port future 2nd it should work with a Collingwood future 2nd.

Maybe hats off to Port..listening to Trade Radio, with GWS now in that larger trade group, they might be able to work it so North are happy for pick 1 to depart to GWS but that could be contingent on getting pick 2, pick 3, Pick 12 and a 2023 2nd which Port might be able to get from GWS for a back ended pick this year. GWS look to 'lose' in that individual trade, but it might be the overall trade that gets North picks 2 & 3 allowing GWS to get pick 1 which is the ultimate 'win' for them

So in a nutshell, port might be able to convince GWS to offload a F2 to them for a lesser pick this year (do they look to split pick 33 for another late 2nd and a 3rd?). If they can pull that off, they have worked the oracle to make it happen without ultimately losing the player we all thought might be mandatory. Will be an interesting watch

I assume you watch NFL with the Seahawks avitar. NYG went 4-13 under Judge in 2021 and 2022 they’re currently 4-1 beating Green Bay this morning under Daboll.

Just 1 simple change of coaches has made Giants improve significantly.

I get it’s not always the coaches fault, but Ken Hinkley is definitely a big problem for Port Adelaide.

If the tweet is correct you're getting one extra first rounder, not two.

Pretty sure old mate is saying the Roos will have 2 first round picks this year - 2 and 3 from this trade - and 2 next year - Port's and their own. Which is correct.

Hopefully Rawlings sees it the same way and this gets stamped off shortly
