Even at our worst this year we shouldn’t have lost to Carlton.
They are an absolute train wreck.

Tbf, its been a steady decline for them since we played them, but still, it shows how poor we were.

Having allegedly committed the crimes in one state, left, then returned to the state months later as a high profile team member I'm thinking the police would've consulted with their legal Eagles, and PR dept, before deciding to wait until after the game?

In amongst all that they'd be wanting to have all their documentation sorted too I'd imagine. They'll look a bit silly if the case isn't watertight, given his profile.

burglary, stealing and criminal damage.

Charges doesn’t look good..I wonder if he was on a good behaviour bind with his release from his previous jail stint with his priors he could be looking at a very lengthy jail sentence if found guilty

The Wallopers in WA can do strange things

I can remember Rodney Eade many many years ago when he was coaching the Swans in a night game at the WACA

And Rocket was in that visitors coaches box way up high in the air and he was swearing his head off - and a policeman in uniform - who just happened to be the brother of John Todd ( former Eagles coaches ) and he tapped on the glass of the coaches box and wanted to arrest Rocket for using indecent language in a public place - ha-ha-ha

As for Pickett - i hope for his family/kids sake there is nothing in this - he would be on 400-500k at Tigerland so it seems strange ( and i know he was once on the wrong side of the tracks ) he would be involved in this from a monetary aspect

Yes - agree with that - obviously still real issues at the club-but they were playing better than this late last year and early this year. From the outside- I feel like he’s not the right fit and they have to start somewhere - can’t continue like this.

Out of all the losses we have had the Carlton one now looks the worst. They are truly putrid and if we had them anytime that wasn't in the first 3 rounds then it would have been a fairly easy win even with the VFL midfield we have been putting up.
