When it's your own team, you ride every bump and kick. You would've said the dees were done when we were 3 goals down halfway through the 3rd quarter and the dogs had all the momentum. Whats the difference? Momentum stops when you enter 3/4 time and there's a massive difference between being 3 goals down and 4 goals down heading into the last break.

The difference is 6 points. No more and no less.

Doesn't matter which way you look at it, it's clear it wasn't the sealer. Important goal, but pretty sure they would've won had he not kicked it.

You don't kick a sealer in the 3rd quarter unless it's a goalless 4th.

It was absolutely the sealer, huge goal 👍

The idea is nuts, it's like Collingwood trading out Daicos

He's pretty much the best player in the game atm, has been for a few years

Melbourne will never recover if they lose Oliver, it's unthinkable

It’s sad that supporters from other clubs see this but some from within our own ranks can’t.

It’s human nature I guess to be seduced by the promise of greener grass.

We were already up shit creek without a paddle helped fully kill us off but was already done

Take your point mate, but I'm not sure how 3 second rounders would beat the Dogs' 10 + 17 + F1 for pick 4?

Adelaide have picks 9,21,24 and likely 30 with Doedee compo. Plus a future first. Plus McAdam (let’s say worth pick 35)

There is enough collateral there to more than compete with the Dogs offer

Obviously North with their bounty of picks can blow everybody out of the water

Melbourne will ask for Thilthorpe along with 9 and 21.

Left field, I wonder if say B King could be prised out of GC with a suite of picks to make his way to Melbourne with Oliver going to Adelaide. Getting pick 1 and Reid might be just 1 option for Melbourne, maybe getting a marquee key forward might be another option for them as compensation?

He could play at Man Utd or he could go play for Plymouth Argyle (North).

Fact thart north fans are weighing in on Clarry is a laugh
Stranger things have happened.

Could play with his best mate under a well respected coach.
For a team that is going to be shooting up the ladder in coming years.
We have the currency draft wise and money.

Nah Hawks lost Franklin and won another 2 flags

Melbourne will be fine.
And pretty sure Crows made the Grannie the year they lost Danger. Geelong Ablett. As good as Oliver is, one player is never all that. The best thing to do is if it’s inevitable don’t drag it out and make it bitter and acrimonious, get the best deal you can and move on.

thilthorpe wasn't even in Adelaide's best 22 towards the end. he got dropped. he is absolute fringe.

Give me Rachele, pick 9, F1 and Michalanney and we'll go from there.

Or we'll just keep the Oliver which is always a win.

King is contracted through to the end of 2024 with a clause to extend beyond that.

What's the incentive for the Suns to even entertain moving him on?

To be fair Dees would probably team up with Adelaide for p4

9,13,20,23,24,33 Doedee compo, Grundy Compo, Harmes compo, Jordan compo and 2 x F1sts.

Go to GC and ask what combo they want for P4 and go from there. Specific combo from that can be made to trump any club.

13,23 and 2xF1s for Pick 4 and Suns F2
Pick 4, 9, 20 and Suns F2 to Demons for Oliver

Doesn’t really balance here but you get the jist

They know he’s rubbish mate and want to offload him.

Thilthorpe played 21 of a possible 23 games this season. He played every game from round 11 through to the end of the season.

The time for you to stop talking shit in this thread is now. No more warnings.

Maybe 3 good first round picks going to GC this year and tempting B King with a good offer to turn his head to ask for a trade to play for a premiership contender?..just using him as an example in this scenario

Of course i expect you to ask for anything.

Thilthorpe is hugely promising key forward just turned 21 taken at pick 2.
