Yep, all leagues moving to Play HQ. Having looked at it for cricket and spoken to a few people it has a ton of issues. Feb 1 is when you can lodge them so I imagine we will see a fair chunk of Norwood in the outgoing column

I’ve never understood what was wrong with the current system. Easy to read and easy to follow. PlayHQ sucks.

The AFL part owns (or at least is heavily invested in) PlayHQ. So they’ve simply told all leagues nationally they’re going onto it.
The Melbourne metro leagues are the last holdouts - they didn’t want it and refused last year’s deadline because they said it wasn’t ready. But Gameday is now switched off and they’ve been forced over.
Questions surround company offering a digital ‘one-stop shop’ for grassroots sports
PlayHQ has already signed up Cricket Australia and the AFL but faces accusations of a conflict of interest and queries over its procurement processes

PlayHQ is fine. Not really any different to SportsTG/Gameday
You won't be able to see any columns. That will be one of a number of downsides to play HQ.

AFLOE had been using Play HQ. Let me say that it was a big benefit coming back to EFL last season where I could escape Play HQ!

There was whinging last year from PlayHQ leagues that transfers weren’t made publicly visible. Don’t know if that’s the case here.
Apparently due to "privacy laws" ... but that theory gets shattered when you see these players running out for their new club.

The EFNL has posted on Face Ache that Transfers are now up. Correction, the transfer window is now open. The public has no access yet.

What a load of crap. They give exclusive access to any HeraldSun subscriber. How is publicising the transfers online and accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world with a paid subscription not a privacy issue. I guess for the EFNL those sort of issues go out the door if money is involved.

All the data is obviously now in PlayHQ so you'd think the report to display transfers simply hasn't been built.
Obviously it's been missed in the development of PlayHQ that people want to see it.
Which is disappointing given PlayHQ clubs and leagues have been whinging about it for a while.

It would be just a hyperlink that needs to be changed to Play HQ off the EFNL Website Transfers button. It's still going to Game Day. Someone had one job.
