I thought we brought far more effort and pressure but just some shit skills, lost our nerve for 7 minutes in the second and dropped our heads for 6 minutes in the last.

Except that we are second for points scored.

Defensively we were towelled all over the park.
I thought it was worst game for Kennedy and Hewett in a while. Acres butchered the ball until the 2nd half.
Owies and Durdin should not be taken into finals. Fogarty, Martin, Motlop to replace them.
Pittonet, Kemp, Cottrell, E hollands were good with Cripps, Walsh, Weiters leading the way. Harry& Charlie missed crucial shots.

we've got too many outs from our defence group - it hurt us on that point

cowan kemp young and even zac williams were on shaky ground - lots of errors amongst them but again if we kicked better it wouldnt have mattered in the end.

Junk time was when we were 5 goals down with 6 minutes to play. The game was over. Those goals we kicked were never going to change the result. Geelong stopped knowing they were going to win. Junk time.

We lack polish and are crying out for a small forward (prime Eddie would be amazing)

Hollands E doing well as a high half forward but Durdin and Owies are to similar to play both

Owies is hard Durdin is not

Motts string of injuries have come to bite us now in the big games

Midfield battled well but if we lose the clearance we are in trouble (lucky we win or half alot)

Defence is all at sea but with Gov and Saad missing it’s understandable…people bagging Wietiers I don’t think he was too bad kept Hawkins goalless but we don’t have an ideal match up for Cameron….

We are carrying about 6 players who are either not ready or out of form….need Cerra and Gov back ASAP

Today was a good run on The MCG for the boys it will be crucial going into next week against the Pies.
Although we lost today its a great build up to next week with a few players returning.
