Paying for legacy media should be grounds for admission to James Nash.
I pay for the New York Times.

The 2 dollars a month is worth it for the Athletic app and games alone!

There are many elements to leadership.

A wise man once told me that the most important aspect of leadership is leading by example.

How have Rozee and Butters led by example in finals?

Rozee doesn't really come across as confident in press conferences. He will take some time.

The press conference of Butters are always good and you can feel a real love of football with him, a fantastic trait to have as a leader. There are rumours on this forum that Rozee is not a big footballing guy.

There was a time recently Butters was told to slow down in practice by Hinkley. That's the type of captain you want.

I think Rozee will have a good year this year as a player and hopefully grow more into the role. It's only been a small amount of time.

When the new captaincy came up, I thought Rozee above Butters but now I prefer Butters. Having said that, Rozee has time to work on it and hopefully with a new coach soon enough, the basic loser philosophies of the team can be thrown out and some Port Adelaide creed put back in the mix.
Rozee got the gig because Butters did not sign for a long term contract where rumours have him off to the Cats in a few years,

From the article...

"...in the final term, the Power did pit what looked to be its strongest attack against its strongest backline. The forward line had Lukosius, Ollie Lord, Mitch Georgiades, Willie Rioli, Joe Richards and Jed McEntee..." lol
Is DBJ injured?

Ollie lord in this mix is frightening. He’s looked so far below the level apart from two games in his career and he’s going to be our second key forward all year? JFC

This is why Key Position players are never ‘developed’ rarely a 21 year old dominates blokes 5 years their senior giving up Strength and KG’s.

Lord needs an opportunity to play 15-22 games, he has ~15 under his belt to this point in time, judge his body of work after 50 games. He leads very well and jumps at the ball well, has kicked a couple of goals and actually stood up in a final. For a young, developing Key Forward they are some traits worth persisting with.

Don't know whether true but I've been hearing that Bergman potentially playing more on ball midfield and SPP too but believe its on a wing for him. Quite possible Mead to be more of a depth player or SUB if that's needed. Quite possibly Rozee to be the hybrid fwd/midfield with more time forward.
Would be a bad move our defence looks so much better with bergman back

He’s the only one with sure hands, the rest two grab

He will never make it. Happy to make a bet with anyone.

What is ‘making it’

Is he going to be Tredrea or Carey? Probably not. He IS an AFL footballer so he has achieved more than most that are drafted.

If Billy Frampton can be a Permiership winning Key Forward, Ollie Lord has as much chance as ANYONE!
