I don't see the point of it. Food is about the social experience and/or atmosphere for me as well as authentic food and fast food doesn't provide any of it. I haven't been to Maccas in Australia in my adult life, or HJ's. I was never into KFC etc. I don't see that changing. As for Grill'd and Zambrero (the ''next tier up'') - Grill'd lost my business when they began stuffing up my orders and not sticking to their timing. If I was absolutely forced to have fast food, Zambrero would get my vote, but it's not cheap and I would rather pay a little extra and go to an actual independent , non-chain place.

Finally gave Maccas the arse last year, Expectations were always low, but still continued to be disappointed

Prefer to pay extra and get a nice dish and side from the local Thai or Chinese shop,

However, Did try the Mexican Whopper from HJ's. It was pretty good.

Went to this F&C joint opposite Fountain Gate. Bloody disgusting. Don't know how they got their top rating in the area on Uber Eats.

F&C in general is overpriced nowadays. $5-$6 min chips and you get less than what you got years ago as a minimum.

I couldn't be bothered cooking tonight. My son said he wanted McDonalds. I got a cheeseburger and fries. I can honestly say it was the worst thing I've eaten in years. Never again.

In Australia the only thing still worth it is the Chicken Nuggets.

I had McDonalds in Japan last year and the burgers there put ours to shame.

since they actually released this pizza at least 3 months ago, we ordered one for pre-Xmas work lunch and it was a bit weird but not terrible. they had a 'dim sim' pizza too.

I liked Wendy's chilli. I'm sure I had one of their triple burgers once. We only went to Wendy's on our roller coaster trips in the US.

I wish we had a Culver's here. I'd die for a ButterBurger of any sort. I loved the one with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. And the root beer floats... now I'm a bit home hungry sick.

The best restaurants near where I lived were family owned and usually run by Greeks. The menus sometimes looked like these encyclopaedic ones on Gordon Ramsay's shows.

We had a Bohemian restaurant near us that we'd frequent. Roast duck with sauerkraut and potato dumplings get my taste buds moving with just the thought of it. My dad preferred the rabbit with red cabbage. When we were small, my siblings and I used to laugh at the smoked butt on the menu.
