Cheap Warner suddenly the most traded in player.
He was a good starter after signing a contract extension and will likely get games til Chad Warner makes up his mind. Then they'll scrap Cheap Warner again.

Do I get in NOD, or do I get Corey Warner and get the Davidson score whilst at it ?

Doing something a bit different....and maybe stupid and risky.

Not chasing an upgrade this week with Prior, Zeid and Davidson all pulling good scores. In fact, don't even need to trade in anyone who plays. So getting Bice in early

My 4 dropped scores will include a donut and Sam Taylor, but hopefully no other scores less than 50 given Lindsay and Levi are also good rookies.

That way, next week I can get Moraes and then chase an upgrade to get Daicos

I have made a last minute pivot to Bice after being on Knevitt all week - crazy stuff. As a Swans fan do you think Bice gets a decent run at it? Am looking purely for JS for this spot so any advice would be great. Could also go Corey Warner as an alternative but think having a def rookie would be preferable - cheers.

I think I am pivoting to Corey Warner, which also gets me Davidsons score.

Tempted by Clohesy, but cannot trust Geelong.

Now with Knev out, have to also change that one

Yeah I'm in the same boat and not to sound big headed but don't really need another FWD rookie with Hall and Davo killing it, Stone and Berry on the bench and Garcia looking like a must have next week. Having an extra defender to allow a Prior/SDK downgrade in the coming weeks would be very handy.

Bloody Chris Scott. Had Knevitt in for Hollands but have to pivot to Clohesy now. Means Lashcroft comes onto the field.

Don't like it as Clohesy could definitely be straight out next week especially with Mannagh in the VFL but have to hope that he plays his heart out again and forces his spot.

Graham is a decent option but every chance he is just a slightly improved version of Sanders - ie priced in the 600s and then gives you 70s and 80s without any real ceiling. He's still worth a shout though as he'll have very good JS and role security for WCE this year.

If he was in doubt, Clay Hall more than likely wouldve been held out of the WAFL game today as his replacement in the midfield for the 2nd week in a row.
The emg we held was Allan, not really a like for like.

Im confident Graham plays

Yeah I think so. Just need 3-4 weeks and he is a good ball user which always helps.

I would for sure, but I need a defender if I'm getting rid of Taylor.

A lot of talk on the podcasts and on here about Moraes being the number 1 rookie trade in target this week, but surely Langford is a better shout?

1. Langford is cheaper (by $3k, but still)
2. Langford is playing as a CBA midfielder and is likely to stay there in a rebuilding Melbourne team. History tells us that CBA mid is a higher scoring role than winger
3. Langford was higher scoring as a junior (averaged 107 in Coates league v 95 for Moraes)
4. Langford has a FAR easier run over the next 5. Langford has Geel, Ess, Freo, Rich and WCE in next 5 v StK, Haw, Syd, North and WBD for Moraes

Yes, Moraes has the lower BE right now but does that really matters? We have a bunch of other rookies on our bench to cull over the next few weeks, Moraes getting to $500k earlier than Langford doesn't seem to matter a huge amount to me.
