The winner gets a shot at Premiership glory, the loser is out - the stakes don't get much higher in this one.

The Roys have had a massive second half to the season and while they won in controversial fashion against the Sharks, they are the real deal. Experience by the truckload, they will be tough to beat at home.

The Furies have been the best team all season and after a shock loss to the Bombers in the Qualifying Final, they bounced back last week with a huge win over the Hawks. Are they back in form?

Should be a beauty.

Teams to be in before 9pm AEST Thursday.

Home final boys...lets roll em and dust em!

Carn the Gorillas!!

I actually hope the Roys get across the line in this one (and that we get across the line against the Sharks) would set up a nice little chance for revenge after our shock loss a couple of years ago in the GF against your lot!

Big big week this week to crush the Rillas dreams of a grand final appearance.

Come on Furies, this one is going to go down to the wire.

Been there, done that, saved the screenshot.

Onya Doug! Hope to meet yers next week.

And Furies, welcome to the horror of finals at Brunswick Street.

You're at Brunswick Street.
Home of Fitzroy history.
Maroon and blue mecca for so long.

You're at Brunswick Street.
Bow your head and wipe your feet.
Pay your respects or you're ****ing gone.

*********** PRESS CONFERENCE ***********

Punt_Road_Roar would like to announce his retirement from the Mighty Furies and from the FFL at the end of this season will hang up his cherished number 18.

After having an amazing season for his beloved Furies where he has played the majority of the season racking up a tonne of possessions (been top 50 for both kicks, marks and handpasses), PRR as the fans like to call him has realised with all the youngsters now at the club that its time for him to move aside for the next generation.

"It's been a fun ride, played in numerous finals series with this club, everyone has been great, but I know my time has come, I hope everyone in the side can understand that I need to move onto the next stage of my life. Thankyou".

PRR now hopes that the boys can get up in the prelim and make the granny and finish on a high.

Car'n Roy's, let's crush them like we did in '44. Even the great Jack Dyer couldn't save this bunch from being devoured by the Lion Pride.
