Who cares about tik Tok lol there's countless examples weekly of goals being ruled out for marginal fouls and offsides. I don't even care as much about the Sarr one it's the Caicedo goal as well. It also took like 5 minutes to work out the Colwell offside. It's ****ing boring. I'd rather have been 2-0 down than sit through the 10 minutes of Var that took up the second half

He's right in the sense that granular footage is being examined to find reasons to disallow goals, rather than find reasons to give goals. In a sport that is low scoring to begin with, having a system geared towards trying to rule out more goals is a little odd.

When I watched the highlights they didn't show a good angle to see that it was a clear and obvious error. But when I checked it on the full game VAR showed the ref a close up which clearly showed Sarr had kicked Caicedo studs up on the knee.

Just seen the Liverpool goal. Not sure how you can say that isn't affecting play.

But who knows what rule or interpretation they're using this week.

Watched some discussion on this. Seems it's been pretty much consistent that it's not treated as offside but basically as you say it should be because the defender still has protect the offside area. Given the missed red as well in the game and some of the other **** ups in recent years I think it's clear ex players need to be more involved with interpretations and VAR.

The dynamic between the fans and Ange is fascinating viewing, the post match scenes seem quite nasty. They seemed to shouting abuse at some players, not sure who though. 16 losses from 30 matches in the premier league is extraordinary, holy moly.

Optus posted footage of the fans absolutely giving it to both him and the players after the match. Was pretty ugly.
