Richmond VFL has made five changes for Saturday morning’s clash with the Brisbane Lions at the Swinburne Centre.

Hugo Ralphsmith
will return to action for Richmond VFL this Saturday after recovering from a hamstring injury, while Oliver Hayes-Brown has also been named to feature after being managed last week.
First-year midfielder Josh Smillie has also been named in Richmond’s VFL line-up, with the pick No. 6 set to make his first official appearance for the Club against the Lions this Saturday.
Rounding out this week’s changed, VFL-listed pair Austin Johnson and Liam George also return to the line-up.
Out of the side is Joel Garner (managed), Sam Flockart (omitted), Kane McAuliffe (injured), Liam Fawcett (concussion protocols), Mate Colina (managed).

The first bounce at the Swinburne Centre is set for 11:05am.
Due to the impending redevelopment of Punt Road Oval, this Saturday's match will be the VFL Tigers' final game at the Swinburne Centre for the season.
All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.

Yeah had a message yesterday after the senior team was named advising McAullife missing due to injury and not cause we just didn't want to pick him.

Today now not been named in the VFL with injury so the mail was solid.

Almost glad it was due to a niggle and not because we just didn't want to select him lol

Looking forward to getting down to Punt Road tomorrow to see Smillie run around. Then onto the G.

havent seen mention of 'managed minutes' for smilie hope he gets the full game. if youre a 19 year old athlete thats been running for weeks and cant run out a vfl game youre in trouble.
2-3 quarters I'd hope. It's not so much about the aerobic fitness, it's more the body conditioning, kid just did a hamstring in the training program, match load is a lot more, nothing wrong with playing a half or so and then progressing from there.
