I know Cerra was better. He was the only player on our team to have more score involvements than Lord last week.
Which is why he’s on notice.

The ‘mid’ who should go out is Doc. He was putrid last week. Got more of the ball, used it a lot worse. Aside from the times he chose not to go.

Doc was bad as well, similar to Lord, Doc just has more versatility

Hopefully Elijah will be ready soon

In a game built more around run these days (and ours is a contested game) you would think more mids the better?

Issue for us is we are so badly structured and drilled that we only play forwards forward and backs back.

In a well drilled and structured side players should be able to “plug” into many different roles and be flexible and unpredictable

Wishing your club to lose. What a fantastic supporter
Not wishing it all, our under performing senior players and coaching panel are taking care of it for us.

At this stage, we win tomorrow, it’s only going to paper over the obvious cracks.

Btw, I spent 10 years on the WA Blues committee devoting quite a lot of my time to the club, I think I have been a fantastic supporter over the journey, thanks ☺️

Lord obviously got too many score involvements last week.
We don’t want to score.

Cerra is on notice.
Cerra is averaging 26 touches and five tackles a game this seasonand had 23 and 6 tackles against the Pies.

Not sure that he's anywhere near the top
of our list of problems.

I thought that Lord gave a few "million dollar" handballs whilst being tackled last week that hurt us badly, his issue is that he is an on baller only and can't play anywhere else. Whilst Cripps, Cerra and Hewett are playing we are just trying to shoehorn him in.

The question is can we get enough CBA's from Motlop, Durdin, Williams etc to make Lords position redundant.

Great to see some run added in Carroll, Durdin, Cotters & obviously great to see Harry back!

Given our clear inability to move the ball forward effectively by foot & with speed - these ins should help.

I’d like to have seen Boyd taking either Gov or Haynes place…

Can’t wait for a 4 qtr win & better ball movement!

McKay for Young (omit) - tick.
Carroll for Cowan (inj) - tick.
Durdin for Lord (omit) - bit harsh, but Durdin played a good pressure game through the middle in the VFL, and probably adds a little more dash if he's taking Lords role in the seniors.
Cottrell for Moir (omit) - makes sense on output, but would have preferred Fogarty or Doc to make way so we could give Moir a chance to kick a few goals and build his confidence.

No Boyd is what saves Gov I guess. Must be concerns about Boyd's match fitness, are they managing him through something undisclosed?

Hollands as EMG is a message - you're close but show us more.

Williams named at HB is interesting. Is it just a bit of "ducks and drakes" on the team sheet, or are we flirting with moving him down back again for some run and carry?

I saw that from Lord last week also - hadn’t seen it previously though.

His hands have been brilliant in & under, looking very solid previously.

It could well have contributed to his demotion.

He’ll be back soon enough.

That shouldn't count based on his games this year
Nope, wafer thin integrity.

I'm even okay with keeping Gov. But not as a defender, as a forward, without sacrificing Kemp.
Harry, Gov and Kemp are all very mobile.

I'm good with the ins. Obviously we need the two prong Charlie/H attack. I am thrilled to see Carroll. Hopefully he is in the 22. I'm happy to see if Durds tackling prowess transfers from VFL to AFL, and let's face it, he is genuinely quick. I'm not sure whether we need both him and Fog in there for the same reason, but it may be the overload that creates chances.

Obviously Cowan is injured, and Young was always coming out with Harry back. Moir couldn't get near the ball with our forward entry woes last week, so I can't complain about that one either.

But Cooper Lord paying the price for the poor form of the side is a bit much. We have had a few players absolutely stink it up for a month, but their seniority saves them time and time again. This is the selection integrity issue. It's not about playing all the kids, it's about dropping those who keep failing on what Voss says is our identify, our non-negotiables. He's been saying it for a month, and they keep ignoring him. Why isn't that punished?

I noticed the Eagles dropped Kelly and Cole because of their failure to met onfield standards. We just don't do that.

For that reason, Voss is choosing the form of his own demise and it's not the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
