This is the THE RIVALRY and everyone else can just marvel at it.

PFD was masterful as the Skipper.

Atkins, Close, Holmes. Stengle, SDK, Zuthrie, Humphries, Smith, all good. Stanley too. Blitz was good too.

Jezza did Jezza things - MOC clamped them down too - Mannagh getting back to his best
Sorry but Ollie Henry is playing like he has Covid - no energy and deviod of skills and confidence. Needs time to find it again.

Miers out for 2 weeks at least after gettting totally belted.

Atkins might have a case to answer too .

Didnt quit and played it out but have plenty to work on

Great win!
4-2 and we needed it with Miers and possibly Atkins out on a short turnaround next week.

Stanley really came through in the final minutes. Kept competing.
Smith, Holmes, Atkins brilliant.

Dangerfield probably won us the game with that breathtaking tackle in the clutch.

It's also appears we no longer rely on Stewart as Guthrie, O'Sullivan and De Koning have become our defensive trio.

Evened up clearances and contested possessions in the last quarter. Still needed a lot of luck but wanted to win it when it counted.

Was an intense game, probably lucky to get the win with the hawks missing some sitters, but then again they were lucky to get as close due to US missing sitters so... evens it up.
Umpires gave us a ride for a quarter so completely even it up (****ing lol) by riding the hawks like an infatuated teenager for 3/4.
Nash is a dog and should get atleast a month.

The much criticised Shannon Neale had some big moments last qtr there

And I'm happy to keep saying it - he's 26 games into his senior career, he'll make mistakes, he'll have quiet games & quiet periods within games but we're also seeing he'll have those big moments

He did it in the last quarter against Freo in round 1, and we saw some more big moments in the last tonight

He's a work in progress and as long as we keep seeing these steps he's taking, I'm looking forward to watching his development
