A long time ago me and my Bigfooty crew here, we was hitchhiking down, on a long and lonesome road

When all of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon, in the middle of the road... AND HE SAID...



Well me and my Bigfooty crew, we looked at each other, and we each said... we'll piss it in.

And we wrote the first things that came to our heads, just so happened to be the best preview in the world. It was the best preview in the world!!!!

Would love us to win...but at the moment, it's Heeney or bust in the mids. And now he has to face Rowell, Miller and Anderson. I don't see how we kick a winning score either, unless someone kicks 5-6 by themselves.

We had plenty of opportunities to kick a winning score v port but couldn't convert. Our mids also beat their mids but poor kicking lead to damaging turnovers. It'll be a challenge v suns but we showed some good form v port.

Seems to me at least one change will be Ladhams in, Hamling out. Based on how we started the Port game, Hamling out means McCartin switches to defence, Francis comes into the forward line to start the game, McLean plays exclusively forward and Ladhams take the second ruck role.

That means someone new has to start as sub. Considering how few smaller types we have to call on from reserves, I could see Hanily get one last shot this week as sub before being sent back to the reserves. Or Sheldrick comes back in but frankly he didn’t play well enough to demand it in reserves and it would be a bit weird frankly to recall both he and Ladhams one week after both were dropped. So I’d say Hanily to be the sub.

Keeping Hanily in the starting 22 this week would be a brave call. 3 disposals in 3 quarters, before being dragged - not many survive that.

Cox will be feeling the pressure this week & I'm not sure he'll risk another no-impact game from Hanily.

But I agree that aside from Ladhams, there weren't any VFL performances that screamed "pick me"!

And so ..... I reckon you're spot-on.

Suns have a 3 prong tall forward line in King (202cm), Read (202cm) and Walters (195cm). I'd be inclined to keep Hamling in and push McCartin back into defence to make up a tall back 3 along with Melican. Rampe and Bice to rebound, Roberts distribute and Wicks to defend. Blakey push up onto left wing.
