It should in theory, but they let a 4 goal lead slip and didn’t put away a side that was already missing key blokes.
Now they have to travel to Perth on a short turnaround resting their own guys.

Holmes is 22 and has played 84 which is roughly the same amount of games.

Max would have been a Premiership player if he didn't do his hamstring in a Prelim, he was instrumental to a 16-0 run in 2022.
Max would have been like SDK was who won a Premiership before Little Nicky did, see how pointless that is?

Why change the subject? Oisin Mullin, a guy who didn't even know what AFL was half a decade ago and has barely played Aussie Rules in his life stopped the youngest, brightest superstar in the game from having any sort of impact in the most important point of the game in a fiercely contested struggle between two top 8 teams.
