yep! 50.17% to 49.83%. sadly, i think zoe is cooked. rumour was that the cormack foundation put in $2m. then there were big donations. i know someone who was offered dinner with wilson. only 12 there - $15,000 a pop. he said no thanks. lots of dirty pool allegedly played in the campaign by the wilson team, too.

He might win Ryan, but he'll struggle versus Albo in Brisbane's suburbs. And the idea that anywhere north of Brisbane (pretty socon compared to even Brisbane, never mind Melbourne) will embrace an openly gay inner-city VIC is laughable. Turnbull did poorly outside of Brisbane just because he was perceived as an inner-city elite. Wilson will fare even worse.

Longman will go (they punished Wyatt Roy for backing Turnbull in 2016), Capricornia could go (the most naturally pro-ALP of the 'coalie' electorates, and socially conservative), and even Hinkler/Groom might go (strong independent in Groom + Hinkler is full of old, white social conservatives). Since QLD seats tend to swing hard, he could face other unpleasant surprises up there.
