Silvagni is close to being our best & most important player.
If you watched the Geelong game he is without doubt our most important player.

His footy IQ and penetrating kicks are amazing to watch. He gives so much piercing forward movement and he is SOS like is his defending.

Shame it’s taken this long for him to find where he fits.

Just like his Pa sniff

His tank was likely pretty important for this game given what transpired.

They all have their flaws but him, Blacres, Ollie, Walsh etc all run all day which must have been critical.

Seems Mots may have more of a tank than I thought. With everyone slowing down late, he was able to put the pedal down a bit and was very handy.
Pretty easy to have legs in the last considering he did f*** all for the first 3 qtrs. Did some nice things in the last but was insipid until then

cooper lord. Theres a player there
There is. Beyond those couple of great moments that ended with him goaling, he was combining really well with Crippa late to win clearances.

He has turned from Mick Martyn to Alex Silvagni very quickly
The tale of two careers. One that should have ended 13 games short of 300, the other one shortened by injury. Alex deserved to play for Carlton, Martyn... should have been left to rot.

Haynes was a good player... and really has picked up in the last month. Getting right back to his best now.

Great game, tense and competitive. Great to get a win. Call out to the unsung players in Evans, binns, lord and young for playing their roles well tonight. Biggest shout out to motlop for his classy last quarter and important touches. Perhaps next week posters may hold fire on criticisisng him in every second post during the match day thread and hold fire until the end.... stay classy baggers ✌️

How about that vile Rabble supporter that tried to hit Harry over the fence in the MCC Members 😡
I half expected the surrounding Carlton supporters to put the scum sucker in his place.

So we do have young players ;)

Vossy doesn't get enough credit for scrounging out wins with young players when we have injuries and must use them. the past 4 years at different stages, he has found wins at various stages.
