WHAT DO THE HAWKS FEAR MOST?

Weirdly enough, it might be the MFC when you look at our encounters over the last handful of years.

Yes, even with some sweet, sweet FROSTBALL on their side we've had the wood over them in recent times. But to win this week would be a true triumph against the odds, given where these teams are sitting.

Don't let any of this distract you from the real story of the week. That's right, THE MAGICIAN is back and ready pull some rabbits out of some hats, or whatever it is that magicians do. JVR comes back with him as we continue the search for a functioning forward line.

Oliver is also back in the team and I'm really just super pumped to see the calm and balanced discussion about his output, no matter what he does or doesn't do. Exciting times guys.

We have no Melk. No Viney to tag (time for a BIG game from Spom Tarrow). But what we do have is a game that will tell us where we're actually at. Have these recent wins meant something or are they just papering over the cracks. Let's find out.

Well frost isn't even playing, has only played twice, what I stupid sack he is, thinking he was going to get games this year, with the players the Hawks have brought into the backline

Think it's pretty clear they've just said **** it and are giving Jefferson an extended run to find out if he's actually any good. Not going to criticize this as it's what I've wanted them do for about two years.
You're funny. He will probably be sub today or dropped next week. We don't do consistency unless your name is Sparrow or Salem.

Having learnt his lesson in the VFL, I have a feeling that JVR is up for 5 goals,
in the first half.

This was our team the last time we lost to Hawthorn (I miss them tbh).

Only five of them playing today

Oliver tagging Newcombe lol. Don't mind making him accountable, but would be surprised if it works
