Don't let any of this distract you from the real story of the week. That's right, THE MAGICIAN is back and ready pull some rabbits out of some hats, or whatever it is that magicians do. JVR comes back with him as we continue the search for a functioning forward line.

Oliver is also back in the team and I'm really just super pumped to see the calm and balanced discussion about his output, no matter what he does or doesn't do. Exciting times guys.

We have no Melk. No Viney to tag (time for a BIG game from Spom Tarrow). But what we do have is a game that will tell us where we're actually at. Have these recent wins meant something or are they just papering over the cracks. Let's find out.​

Surprised Tholstrup was not dropped out completely.

I have not got a sense that Melbourne turned any type of corner over the last couple of weeks. I have low expectations of just being competitive.
